Cellular Jail : After lunch visit the famous Cellular Jail has a pride of place in India’s freedom struggle. Many a stalwart were imprisoned here. The three-storey prison has been declared a national memorial, constructed by Britishers in 1906 and is a pilgrimage destination for freedom fighters. This colossal edifice has mutely witnessed the most treacherous of inhumane atrocities borne by the convicts, who were mostly freedom fighters Andaman is known for its beaches, and in the evening, you will be taken to one of the most fun beaches in the islands- the Corbyn’s Cove Beach - Located 8 km away from Port Blair, Corbyn's Cove beach, fringed by swaying palm trees, is famous for its sparkling blue water. The amazing view of the beach against the emerald water is simply breath-taking and refreshing. Apart from its surreal beauty, the island offers various water adventures like water scooter, jet skiing, and boating. Around the beach, there are many restaurants, serving delightful cuisine.
Light and Sound show at Cellular Jail : In the evening proceed to attend the enthralling Sound and Light Show at the Cellular Jail – the saga of countless martyrs of the Indian independence struggle. The show conducted in the premises of Cellular Jail, gives us a brief idea about the happenings in the jail prior to India's independence. Return to your hotel for comfortable overnight stay.
Today, we start our journey towards Havelock Island via ferry from Port Blair Harbour. On arrival at Havelock Island, our representative will receive and escort you to check-in to the resort. In the afternoon proceed to Beach No 7* (Radhanagar Beach) rated as the ‘Best Beach in Asia’ by Time Magazine. Watch a mesmerizing sunset on Beach no.7 before returning back to your hotel to relax and unwind. Overnight at the hotel.
Havelock Island : The Island (often just called Havelock) is one of the most beautiful and largest islands of Ritchie's Archipelago and is a placid heaven like no other. Situated 57 km north east of the South Andaman’s with an area of 92 Sq kms. She offers a breath-taking trail of nature expeditions. This picturesque Island with beautiful sandy beaches and lush green forest is also rated as the seventh most beautiful island in the world. It hosts to o the world’s most renowned beaches vijay Nagar Beach and Radha Nagar Beach. Spend the day relaxing on this beach. Later proceed to selected hotel. Stay here overnight amongst sandy beach and lush green forest in a comfortable beach resort.
Radhanagar Beach : Situated on the south coast of Havelock and lined with lush coconut palms, Radhanagar beach is one of the most popular beaches of Andaman due to its pristine white sand and crystal-clear waters. While here, one could either relax on the silky sand flanking the turquoise blue water. The beach has various cafes where you can relish from local to global cuisines. With its mesmerizing sunsets and sunrises, this beach is a must visit for all beach lovers.
After Breakfast, check out from the hotel. Transfer to the Havelock jetty to board the ferry for Neil Island. On arrival at Neil Island, our representative will receive and escort you to check-in to the Hotel. Post lunch (on direct payment), proceed to visit Bharatpur beach, Laxmanpur beach (depending on tide conditions). Time Permitting, we also cover Howrah Bridge (Natural Bridge) Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Neil Island : Neil is a tiny but beautiful island located 37 Kms. to the south of the Andaman Islands. With unexplored coral reefs, brilliant bio-diversity, white sandy beaches and tropical forest and vegetation, it is one of the hot tourist spots in the Andamans. The island, with its very relaxed vibes and long, deserted beaches is a place to chill out after the "bustle" of Havelock. The widest part of the island is about 5 km in length. You can walk the whole island in about two hours.
Natural Rock Formation (Hawda Bridge): The Howrah Bridge which is a live natural coral formation resembling bridge in Neil Island is also called the natural bridge. It is an ideal place for shutterbugs and especially the changing colour of horizon at sunset draws the tourists.
Bharatpur Beach : Bharatpur Beach is where most of the people visiting Neil Island are headed to. The greenery and vast sandy beach are like ointment on tired eyes. The beach is also loved by visitors for its colourful coral reefs and the pretty aquatic creatures swimming around are like icing on the cake.
Laxmanpur Beach : The secluded beach of Laxmanpur lies 2 km north of the Neil jetty. The Laxmanpur Beach is considered to be as the sunset point for the visitors. Once cleaner beach of Andaman with nice view of sunset point. Laxmanpur beach is a picturesque waterfront covering an immense stretch of area of Laxmanpur village. The beach is covered with the blanket of white shells over the sand contrasting to blue Sea. The beach is been abounded with many reefs as well as sea shell, typically collected by the visitors as souvenirs.
The morning after breakfast you will transfer to jetty for the ferry to Port Blair. Upon arrival in Port Blair, we cover the Chidiyatapu.
Chidiyatapu or Bird Island : Post your meal you will head out to Chidiyatapu, a pristine beach 40 km away from city centre, famous for some incredible sunset views. Pure white sands, a hammock, humming of birds and the rhythm of the gentle blue waves – this is what awaits you in Port Blair.The lush green mangroves and sandy beaches invite you for a day of recreation. The variety of birds – emerald dove, red-breasted parakeets, drongos – make it a photographer's delight. Watch the sunset from the forest guest house, the orange of the sun reflecting off the many isolated islands in view.
